We had the privilege of filming a live music event in Manchester featuring musical performances of Brothers of Progress, Jake Spicer, and special guest Mark Kelly. Our main task as videographers was to practice gain experience shooting such events. This was a real-time challenge as we had only one chance to shoot the entire video from start to finish.

Project Workflow
This was our first experience filming a live music event and it was a blast. We used 2 camera angles to film the event and each musical performance. We used Sony FX3 and DJI RS 4 Pro 3-AXIS Gimbal as the main camera to take both general and close-up shots. The 2nd camera, Sony Alpha ZV-E10, was used to fill the gaps that we could not capture with the first camera. We also used additional lighting to make the picture look nicer and deeper. As per the sound, it was recorded separately on a recorder and was provided by the event’s host.
We also invited our partner photographer Andy Gundry to the event. He took lots of wonderful photos of the event and BTS photos that you can see in this post. We are grateful to him for such support.
