Client's Vision
Our client approached us with a unique challenge: creating an engaging tutorial video for their latest product, a 3D crystal digital display integrated with crystal installations. The goal was twofold — provide detailed instructions for existing customers and create an enticing introduction for potential buyers.
Product Description
The 3D digital display is a sophisticated product designed not only to showcase photos but also to complement 3D crystals.
The challenge lay in balancing the beauty of the crystal on a dark background with the product's black color. Our solution? A careful fusion of lighting techniques to highlight both elements seamlessly.
Project Workflow
Filming process
To overcome color challenges, I meticulously mapped out visual scenes based on the client's script — storyboard. A storyboard is a graphic representation of how your video will unfold, shot by shot.
The filming process took about two hours, with an additional three hours dedicated to curating the storyline and selecting the best shots.
Recognising the long-term value of this content for future projects, I invested extra time in organising files systematically, ensuring easy retrieval for future use.
Video Editing
As both the video producer and videographer, my role is to get the best possible video from post-production.
I handed over a carefully crafted storyline to our video editor, detailing the desired visual and audio effects to enhance the tutorial's impact.
We also need to remember that this video not only serves as an operational guide but also plays a strategic role in our client's marketing funnel.
