Global Coffee Industry Summit Video Production for ICO – London

Our responsibility was to film these events, covering a packed two-day schedule that included insightful panel discussions, keynote speeches, and networking sessions with leaders like Vanúsia Nogueira, Executive Director of ICO, Andrea Illy, Chairman of Illycaffè, and representatives from major global organizations such as Nestlé, UNIDO, and the International Finance Corporation (IFC).

With over 30 high-profile executives and ambassadors in attendance, we understood the gravity of ensuring every critical moment was captured with precision. Our team had no room for error, and the stakes were high. The event called for two videos — a short recap shown during the event and a comprehensive summary with interviews from industry leaders.

In preparation for this event, we entered into a detailed service contract with the ICO, guaranteeing the highest level of responsibility.

As per our agreement, we promised that if for any reason we could not attend, we would ensure a qualified replacement. Thankfully, that was not necessary, as our team delivered exactly as promised, ensuring flawless execution from start to finish.

Project Workflow

On Day 1, we began filming at 9:00 AM, capturing every key speech, including the Opening Panel on Public-Private Partnerships and discussions on Funding Sustainability and Resilience in the Coffee Sector, led by prominent figures like Gerardo Patacconi, Head of Operations at ICO, and Gwen Mwaba, Managing Director at Afreximbank. During the breaks, we conducted interviews with public and private sector representatives, allowing us to document not just the events but the insightful perspectives shaping the future of the coffee industry.

One of the key themes was the Closing of the Living Income Gap in Coffee-Producing Regions, with panelists such as Natalia Carr, ESG Manager at Cooxupé, and Marcelo Burity, Head of Green Coffee Development at Nestlé.
These critical discussions highlighted the importance of collaboration between governments and industry stakeholders, a message we captured and emphasized throughout our videos.

By the evening, our editing team worked on-site to produce the recap video, which was shown on the second day. It was incredibly well received, earning a round of applause from the attendees.

The final video, a comprehensive five - minute summary, featured interviews with CEOs and country ambassadors. We worked closely with Angelica Salazar, ICO's Junior Communications Officer, to ensure the video was not only polished but politically sensitive, highlighting the impact of the event without misrepresenting any crucial details. We would like to share our deepest appreciation for Angelica, Miguel Zamora, ICO Coffee Public-Private Task Force Coordinator, and the entire ICO team for their professionalism, support, and collaboration.

The video captured key messages from prominent figures such as Amb. Stefano Gatti, who highlighted the importance of breaking down barriers between producing and consuming countries, and Andrea Illy, who emphasized the urgency of public-private collaboration.
