This is a complex project where I help Yana as a fitness trainer to launch her brand. I advise on how to start working on a personal brand and what needs to be done first. We started with a series of fitness training videos and wanted to test how everything works. We planned our first video shoot in Manchester and additionally invited our partner photographer Andy to take beautiful and high-quality photos for Yana's brand.

Filming Process
We met with the fitness trainer at a skate park in Manchester to film a full workout session planned to support both long-form video and short-form social content. From the start, the shoot was structured with repurposing in mind, allowing each exercise and transition to work as standalone clips for social media.
A multi-camera setup was used to capture the session from multiple angles, combining wide shots with more detailed framing. This approach gave us flexibility to select moments that translate well into short-form videos, while still documenting the complete workout. We also filmed warm-ups, stretches, and additional fitness b-roll to expand the range of usable content.
To increase visual variety across the final clips, we adjusted positions and backgrounds during the shoot. This helped ensure the short-form videos feel dynamic and distinct, even though they were captured during a single session.
Alongside video production, a professional photographer joined the shoot to capture still images for social media, website visuals, and promotional use, keeping the trainer’s online presence visually consistent.
Short-Form Content Use
Although a full workout video was recorded as part of the project, the primary focus was on adapting selected footage into short-form fitness clips. These videos highlight individual movements, technique, and flow, making them well suited for platforms such as Instagram Reels and TikTok.
The outcome was a reusable library of short-form fitness content designed for ongoing use across social channels, supporting regular posting and sustained engagement rather than a one-off video release.
